Do you feel like anxiety has taken over?

No one can see the racing thoughts or sense of unease.

Maybe anxiety feels like a constant knot in your stomach that you just can’t shake. It’s hard to explain, but you know something is “off” and sometimes it's hard putting words to how you’re feeling.

While life may look good on the outside, the inner struggle, insecurities, indecisiveness, and anxiety are overwhelming. When you’re busy overthinking everything, it can be difficult to find confidence or feel content at the end of the day.

Anxiety can create a lot of worry, stress and problems, especially if you’re balancing multiple roles. When you constantly compare yourself to others, it can make you wonder where you stand in your relationships and cause you to feel like something is “missing" in life. It’s time to get out from under the self doubt & panic, and take back your life from anxiety.

What causes anxiety?

No one can see the racing thoughts or sense of unease.

Anxiety doesn't usually have one simple cause… and that's part of what makes it so frustrating.

It can stem from years of people-pleasing and perfectionism, a nervous system that's been in overdrive for so long it doesn't know how to turn off, life transitions, relationship stress, or simply the pressure of daily life.

Sometimes there's a clear trigger. Sometimes it just feels like constant noise in your mind. Either way, it's real and you don’t have to keep feeling this way.

I got you!

Anxiety takes a toll on you, your work, your life and your relationships. While nerves or self doubt can sometimes be a "normal" human experience, anxiety & panic attacks don't need to be. Therapy with me can help you untangle yourself from the overwhelm, doubt, & anxious thoughts that keep you up at night & stop you from enjoying life.

While it certainly feels better when we process & "talk it out," therapy is so much more. It's important for me to learn what you need so I can provide you with tools & solutions that work. To create change, it's key to learn how to manage stress, reframe negative thinking and build your confidence so you can make decisions, sleep at night & be able to say "I got this!" Some say that anxiety can't be "cured." And while we may not know for sure, I certainly believe we can heal the parts of ourselves that hold us back from living life.

You are many things as a human being… calm, content & confident need to be on the list.

Anxiety Therapy can help you:

  • learn the tools needed to manage stress

  • foster a healthy relationship with yourself

  • talk through the challenges you're facing

  • boost your confidence

  • practice mindfulness to gain a sense of stability and support

  • feel relief from physical symptoms

  • teach you skills to help you heal & move forward

It's time to feel strong & secure in your life.

Frequently asked questions about Anxiety Therapy

  • High-functioning anxiety is the kind of anxiety that doesn't “look” like anxiety from the outside. You show up, accomplish things, keep it together… but internally you're exhausted, overthinking everything, and feel like you’re running on fumes. And because you keep going, no one around you has any idea you're struggling. It's incredibly common in high-achieving women and very treatable. [Read more here.]

  • Everything works, not everything works for you.

Coping is a BIG word and can encompass a lot of things. Because I utilize a holistic approach in counseling, we’ll discuss everything from typical self-care to morning & nighttime routine, from how you eat to how you spend your free time.

We’ll discuss how to incorporate specific things like journaling, meditation, hypnotherapy, supplements, cognitive reframing, mindfulness, decision-making, problem-solving, boundaries, time management, etc into your day. (<-- not an exhaustive list)

It sounds like a lot, but it’s simpler than you realize and it’s good to have tons of options!

  • You’re welcome here any time! Waiting until you're in crisis is one of the biggest myths about therapy. You don't need a diagnosis or a “breaking point” to ask for help. If you’ve been thinking about something more than you'd like it to be, that's reason enough. Many of the women I work with have a quiet sense that they deserve to feel better than they have been… And that's a great time to reach out!

  • Yes! I offer online therapy (i.e. telehealth appointments) to clients throughout Florida via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. It’s great for clients who prefer flexibility, a hybrid approach or to remain solely telehealth. I am also licensed in Illinois and have online clients from there as well. In-person sessions are available at my Bradenton, FL office.

  • At this time, I'm in network with UHC/Optum for Florida clients.

In order to provide 100% confidential and individualized treatment, I’m not in network with other insurance. (Not utilizing insurance also empowers you to choose your provider, treatment length, and style, and not have insurance interfere with your individualized needs and goals.)

I can provide a monthly Superbill that you can submit to insurance should you wish to seek reimbursement, but cannot guarantee they will do so.

Solaire accepts all major credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, and cash for payment.
